ESSC Working Section Agility League

Rules

Eligibility

The Agility league is open to all subscribers to 'Sheltie at Work' magazine who compete with a purebred Shetland Sheepdog. If you would like to receive 'Sheltie at Work' please download the application form or contact our Secretary on 01784 258334 or  info@esscworkingsection.co.uk.

The following classes qualify for points within the league:

Standard classes at a KC licensed Open show (ie. only progression classes - you may also claim points for Championship Jumping and Agility), and at the ESSC Working Section Agility Show. Other limited shows do not qualify for points.

We are now collecting results for 2024. Please send in your results, ideally within 12 weeks from the show date.

Please note that we are happy to accept older results for the current year if there is a show you didn't realise was eligible, or if you only recently heard about the Agility league etc - however we prefer to receive results within the 12 week window so that the current league table reflects something closer to real time (and to avoid the site editor needing to add a ton of results at the end of the year!).

Awards

Rosettes will be awarded to 6th place in each grade of the league. Rosettes are kindly donated by the Working Section.

Points

Points are awarded on a sliding scale for places where the show awards a rosette, and unplaced clear rounds within the course time:
