Agility Championships

All those who gained Agility tickets last year were invited to compete.

Crufts Medium ABC (Anything But Collie)

Following the Semi-finals at ‘Olympia’ (now ExCel) these were in the top 8 and will go to the final at Crufts: Stephanie Best with Z-Atomic Spice Koryfej, Tanya Cooper with Licosateria Taxi in Motion and Sue Midgley with Licosateria Tangerina.

 

Rally

Crufts Inter-regional Rally

Northern Team: Level 2, Abbey Taylor and Melba (Saunderswood Rainbow Jewel)

Scottish Team: Reserve, Louise Saunders and Blaze (Galateus Bohemia Classic at Torriglen)

Midlands Team: Reserve, Lisa Sergiew and Saffron (Izzabella Tinkerbell)

SE & East Anglia Team: Level 4, Hazel Hicks and Trek (Milwyr Larch) 

and Level 6, Rowena Steady and Toes (Tooralie’s Just the Tonic)

 

 

Crufts Agility Teams

Many Shelties have successfully competed individually or in teams at Crufts. However 2020 was the last year that the Agility Team competitions will take place, so the ESSC Working Section will no longer be represented by a team. 

We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone and their Shelties that have taken part in the Agility Team qualifiers and the finals at Crufts over the years. You have always done us proud.  And it has been a great opportunity to show the Agility World just how great Shelties are!

Hayley Gilbert with Lanteague Lotus AW(P), aka Lottie,

returned to Crufts this year! It was her last year with the YKC and they were fortunate enough to qualify for not one, not two, but three finals this time around. Lottie is nearing retirement from Agility, so Hayley really appreciated this last opportunity to show off her amazing talent and skills on the green carpet. She also did her proud the previous weekend, earning the final points towards her Agility Warrant (Diamond) at their first show of the year.
